I am writing this blog with mixed sense of happiness and new things about Nippon...



My dil goes .....mmmmmmmmm... I am writing this post from Japan. I am here for some onsite work for a big MNC. Well, this is my first international trip. The feelings of leaving IGI Airport and arriving at Tokyo's was somewhat inexplicable.
First time in my life I have seen and mesmerized on many things. These feelings prompted me to write some of those experiences.
Well, I have seen sun rising at 2:30 a.m. Indian Time (from the airbus). The view was awsome. After getting to Tokyo , I had a chance to visit Otaru (a sea- shore).
The place was like mountains covered with snows on one side and pacific ocean on the other , and you are standing in between them. Man !!! I just wish that you were there to see the nature and its beauty when the sun was just going down from the ocean end. I was just dumb in those 5 minutes.
I can now say that I lived some beautiful moments of my life.

But Japan is more than that. This is the only country which has made US 2nd with respect to the high speed trains and the automobiles. It is very ridiculous that most of the developed countries are English speaking and even some of the dominant countries are English speaking, still you cannot overcome Japan w.r.t. any other country.
People here, are very shy to speak English as they are not confident in it. They believe in good command over whatever they do. It's really inspiring.

The humble and honest nature of a Japanese even with a foreigner is really appreciable.
I know its the heritage, a generation keeps following. So, as an Indian it may seems not good when we compare ourseleves with them as we are from different heritage.
But at some points I really wanted to compare ourseleves.

I may be wrong with the below written arguments as I am not a historian or economist. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Post independence, we knew that we were completely devastated by the British. So, if we knew our position earlier, why didn't we came up with something fundamental. Please don't crib about the Democracy and 5 year plans . My point is, what it was that originated corruption. OR boldly saying why there was loop-whole in the Democracy.
We still complain our trains running late. We still advice the foreigners to be careful of "thugs"when they visit India. Well, its a debatable topic. But I see a serious flaw in making rules and policies.

We like our country to be such that its products whether in IT, automobile , tourism, are to be trusted, but still we can't think in that way. I wanted to know why???
